At 9 weeks pregnant, your baby is about the size of a cherry 🍒 and is developing rapidly!

3D Ultrasound at 9 Weeks

  • Your baby’s head, body, and limb movement may be visible.

  • A strong, flickering heartbeat can often be seen on 3D ultrasound.

  • The baby is still small, but features are becoming more recognizable.

The Baby’s Development

  • Tiny arms and legs are growing longer, and fingers and toes are more defined.

  • Facial features like the eyes, nose, and mouth are becoming clearer.

  • The heartbeat is strong and can often be detected on an ultrasound.

  • Your baby is starting to make small movements, though you won’t feel them yet.

Your Body’s Changes

  • You may still experience nausea, fatigue, and mood swings as hormones continue to rise.

  • Your uterus is expanding, and a small baby bump may start appearing soon.
